Next, get the skill that your device is compatible with, enable it, and link your Lollipop account. The skill will integrate your cameras with Amazon Alexa allowing you to view or ask something on your Alexa device.
Lollipop Show mainly offers the live view of your camera. If you’re looking forward to asking Lollipop to report recent events, play music, or turn off the camera, you’ll need to enable “Lollipop Camera” skill as well.
After you successfully enabled the skill, you may ask something with commands, such as
“Alexa, show the nursery camera,” or
“Alexa, ask Lollipop to turn on private connection.”
NOTE: Lollipop Show is not a cloud service that directly hosts or provides access to your camera’s audio/video feeds but rather an integration service. In order to watch the live view of your cameras from Alexa devices, all your cameras and Alexa must be on the same Wi-Fi network. In addition, the firmware of all your cameras must be updated to the latest version to ensure the functions work normally. (The version should be the same to or later than2020070300-g70fb75f)
