With Lollipop skills and Alexa, you can now access your Lollipop Baby Camera using voice commands!
To get started, simply sign up your account on Lollipop App, and add your cameras to the account. Next, get the skill that your device is compatible with, enable it, and link your Lollipop account. The skill will integrate your cameras with Amazon Alexa allowing you to view or ask something on your Alexa device.
- Upgrade Lollipop Baby Camera's firmware to the latest version
- Make sure Lollipop Baby Camera and Echo Show is under the same Wi-Fi network
- Lollipop Show skill
Using the Skill, you can ask Lollipop to view the live feed from one of your cameras
- Lollipop Camera skill
Using the Skill, you can ask Lollipop to play sound and report event from one of your cameras
After you successfully enabled the skill, you may ask something with commands, such as
“Alexa, show the nursery camera,” or
“Alexa, ask Lollipop to turn on private connection.”
Lollipop Show is not a cloud service that directly hosts or provides access to your camera’s audio/video feeds but rather an integration service. In order to watch the live view of your cameras from Alexa devices, all your cameras and Alexa must be on the same Wi-Fi network. In addition, the firmware of all your cameras must be updated to the latest version to ensure the functions work normally. (The version should be the same to or later than 2020070300-g70fb75f)
