Lollipop Baby Camera is highly dependent on the internet connection. Therefore, it needs to connect to the internet in order for you to watch live video and upload event videos.
If your camera does get disconnected, you’ll receive a notification to notify you.
If you can’t connect to the internet, do the following to check whether the camera can connect
(be sure to check whether the Wi-Fi chip of the camera is well or if there are any hardware issues):
- Connect the camera to a hotspot on your mobile phone (internet speed required: at least 10mbps for uploads and downloads) and observe the connectivity.
- If the camera can connect to this hotspot without issues, then the hardware of the camera should be fine, and the issue might be that the router was configured improperly. Check the settings of your Wi-Fi router or the network environment in your house. It’s possible that something is blocking or disconnecting the camera.
- If the camera is unable to even connect to your hotspot, there’s a high chance that the camera has hardware issues. In this unusual case, contact our customer support for further assistance.
