Your Lollipop Baby Camera supports Wi-Fi in both 2.4GHz and 5.0 GHz frequencies. Ensure that you place your camera in a room that has sufficient 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi coverage.

Is there a way to force the camera to connect only to the 5GHz network?
Lollipop Baby Camera will connect automatically to the last known available network with the strongest available signal that the customer who added the camera to. If the available network is out of range or offline, the camera remembers the last few networks it was connected to, so it might try to connect to those if it can find/detect them.
There is currently no way to force the camera to connect directly to the 5GHz network. However, you can try forcing the router to generate a 5G network the camera already recognizes. To do this, you need to change the 2.4GHz network to another name by logging into your router's settings and changing the SSID (Wi-Fi network name) for the 2.4GHz network. If you do this, your camera will now only connect to the 5G network due to it being the only remaining recognized network.
Note: We are constantly improving our camera hardware and software. Regretably, if you purchased the camera before October 2020, your camera will only support 2.4GHz.
