Updating your Lollipop's firmware is a straightforward process, and we regularly release updates to introduce new features, enhance product functionality, and address any bugs that may arise. To ensure your camera is running the latest firmware, please follow the steps below:
1. On the Live View page, tap the three dots on the top right of your camera view and navigate to Camera Settings.
2. Locate the Firmware Version option.
Note: the Firmware Version option will not be available if the camera is offline.
3. The Firmware Version page displays the current app version on your device and the latest available version.
4. If an update is available, you'll see the "Update Now" button at the bottom of the screen. Tap it to start the update immediately, or select "Update Later" to schedule the update at a later time when there's lower level of internet traffic, such as at night.
When initiating the firmware update, it is crucial to ensure that your camera is receiving a strong Wi-Fi signal. Sometimes, an unstable internet connection may cause initial update attempts to fail. In such cases, you may attempt the update again, and success may be achieved on the second or third try.
Additionally, you may consider updating the firmware using a mobile hotspot if you encounter difficulties with your regular Wi-Fi connection.
We hope this guide proves helpful in ensuring your Lollipop camera benefits from the latest updates and enhancements. If you have any further questions or encounter any issues during the update process, our dedicated customer support team is ready to assist you.
